Books, whether factual or not are an escape for many round the world. They can help us discover things we sometimes didn’t realise we wanted/needed to.

Here are a few links to books that we feel talk about connectivity, individualism and showcase the different facets of the world we live in.

> On The Road - Jack Kerouac - Recharacterizing and retelling the sometimes harsh reality of his own experience of the post-war Beat movement.

> Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro - The struggle of individuality and knowing yourself is rife throughout this book but does also bring together an amazing set of characters to make you think about the way we act towards each other.

> Zeitoun - Dave Eggers - A true story of a man and a second-hand canoe’s battle to help his town after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
