Hoxton North presents COFFEE. With guest speakers from Origin Coffee Roasters, Phil Gevaux.

A bit about Origin Coffee Roasters

Origin Coffee Roasters are Based in the depths of Cornwall. They were established in 2004 when they outsourced their roasting to a larger company and distributed their coffee to restaurants, hotels, delis and cafes in Cornwall, slowly gaining more and more business out of the county.

After a successful entrance into the coffee trade they set about planning to achieve their main target - roasting their own coffee. In 2008 they bought a little Diedrick roaster and began dabbling in the art of roasting. they started in a tiny unit with no heating in basic surroundings, roasting tiny amounts for a few of their customers and before they knew it demand for their own roasted coffee was growing. In 2010 they invested in the Loring SmartRoast (their pride and joy) it's the world's first environmentally friendly coffee roaster, using 80% less energy than any other on the market and producing next to no emissions.
